a few words from joe'd

Hello and welcome to my passion, my therapy, my sanity and sanctuary.
I am English with a streak of Irish blood running through my veins. I love quirky, interesting people with a wicked sense of humour.. Little things that people say or do fascinate me - gestures, how they act, express themselves, even things I do, good or bad. I guess that's where a lot of my inspiration comes from.

In a perfect world I would create art day and night. I'm guessing most artists would agree but, needs must so I do have a grown-up job too. I'm a graphic designer., which I equally love.

Creating art and listening to music gives me a perfect excuse to dwell in the realms of my imagination and I try to get that out on paper or canvas whenever I can. For me, music and art go hand-in-hand. I never create art without listening to music, it would just feel weird and empty..

I guess I have an eclectic musical taste, Stevie Nicks, Jeff Buckley, Zero 7, Nina Simone, Pink Floyd, Andreya Triana, Jimi Hendrix, Bonobo, Burial, the list would go on.

I'm a bit of a chatterbox too so I best finish here as I'm taking up too much website space (and your browsing time). So, I really hope you enjoy my art and I'm never far from a computer so if you want to drop me an email, you're very welcome to.

Thanks for dropping by.
Joe'd x
